GINA in the fight against covid-19

We at GINA are always looking for challenges in which we are able to respond quickly to current critical situations in the world. Whether it is a humanitarian crisis,
a pandemic or a natural disaster, we are able to implement our solutions in many different scenarios in which we are able to help.
We at GINA are always looking for challenges in which we are able to respond quickly to current critical situations in the world. Whether it is a humanitarian crisis,
a pandemic or a natural disaster, we are able to implement our solutions in many different scenarios in which we are able to help.

In response to the situation and the spread of coronavirus around the world, we have put together the main functionalities of our applications and the ways in which they can help fight the spread or monitor the infection.

REAL-TIME DATA VIEW

Data on the number of infected COVID-19 can be easily viewed in GINA Central. Subsequently, individual cases can be filtered by region and have an overview of all types of cases, including the number of infected, cured, etc.

Our solution will help crisis management to control the situation, ensure a perfect overview in each region and enable further data analysis. Data updates can be done both manually and automatically using eg KML or geoJSON feed.

FIRST RESPONDERS AND VOLUNTEERS DATA SHARING

Data shared in a common operational situation helps all stakeholders to gain a better overview of unit movements, share drawings, or POIs.

Busy places such as border crossings can be easily controlled and effectively managed by all participating units involved in COVID-19 preventive measures.

Public Safety Organizations, hygienists, or other authorized personnel involved in resolving the crisis may have access to this data. Data are inserted into the map in the Coordination Centre using GINA Central, importing data from other sources, or retrieved directly from the field using GINA GO or GINA Portal.

DATA COLLECTING FROM THE FIELD

Collecting field data and communicating with potentially infected patients is one of the main needs for effective management of a pandemic crisis.

GINA Portal – a tool to collect patient information such as symptoms, current position, contact details, pictures or videos. The link to the form is sent to the patient via SMS and can be filled in from both the mobile phone and PC.

GINA

GINA GO – a mobile application that allows you to fill in predefined forms, share your current location with other staff and the control center. In an emergency, the SOS button can be used to trigger an alarm.

CREATING DANGEROUS AND SAFE ZONES IN THE SHARED MAP

GINA GO mobile app notify you or your staff when entering a zone that has an increased incidence of patients with COVID19 and it is appropriate to use protective equipment.

When entering the safe zone, you are notified that the area does not require any special protective equipment.

Creating zones is quick, easy to modify, and their creation corresponds to the current situation in your area.

It is also possible to identify places, where potential contact with an infected person was held and show it on the map with exact time and location.

COMMUNICATION AND REAL-TIME MESSAGING

GINA

Fast communication between field workers, first respondents and the coordination center is an essential function of the GINA GO application. This makes it easier for field workers to inform each other and to communicate with the operations center.

Communication also includes the ability to share your current location and navigate to a shared location in the chat. In case of need or danger of workers, colleagues in the area can react immediately and go directly to the position of the person who requires help.
